We use protective plastic Solvey on all our embroidery. Solvy is a water soluble embroidery topping and stabilizer which creates a smooth embroidery surface to give clearer embroidery. Stitches won't sink into the fabric, giving a crisp definition and detail to your work.
Sizing: The fit will vary from tight to relaxed. If you are going to wear the shirt for rugby play, traditionally it should hug the body. For casual wear, you will want a more relaxed fit.
